A Jumbo Shrimp

The following sentence is true.
"'Take some more tea,' the March hare said to Alice, very earnestly.
'I've had nothing yet,' Alice replied in an offended tone, 'so I can't take more.'
'You mean you can't take less,' said the Hatter. 'It's very easy to take more than nothing.'"
(Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland)

Lets look at this Shall we?
This bends what you think, and it may have more behind it than one would see right away.
First the March is saying this earnestly which means that he is not trying to deceive Alice. This implies that this form of thinking is normal and natural to him. As this is a bent form of though you can draw from this that he is somewhat off the deep end, tainted. Alice however does not think this way, as proved when she replies that she cant take more, she is pure, unknowing and untainted. Now as the March is not trying to deceive her, this implies that those who have been tainted try to taint those around them without knowing it, they are just acting 'normal' in a 'strange' environment. When Alice says that she has had nothing yet this also proves Alice is the incarnation of purity. The Hatter who is also off than tells Alice that she cant take less but it is very easy to take more than nothing. Here the Hatter is warping Alice's thought, this is changing the subject as well.
Though it maybe it was never been about the tea and rather about contorting the mind of a pure being.

The previous sentence is false.

Human design...

Just about everything is bad about it.
So yeah we humans are kinda really not 'well made' if we were made.

For example lets look at what we are oh so proud of, our brain.

Yes it is awesome and amazing but it is so inefficient that it almost brings tears to my eyes. For one just look at human birth, we have to be born prematurely just so that our females don't die in childbirth most of the time.
We cant do anything as a newborn where as other baby animals are able to do lots of things like walk and take care of themselves hours or a day after their birth. We on the other hand will die if you don't hold our neck the right way.
This is where love comes from but ill talk about that some time else.
The reason all of this is a thing is because our neurons that make up the human brain and most other animals as well, is extremely under evolved in comparison to almost everything around it. For example you know dinosaurs had the same kind of neurons make up their brains as we do. They have been the same all the way back to some of the first creatures that had neurons. The problem with the way our brain works is that every neuron that sends a message the, the neurons around that one get the message but it is not clear, it is jumbled. That said they still try to make sense of what that means, so there is both energy miss used and time that is lost. A computer can send a clear message to some other bit of the computer without it getting sent to wrong places and them trying to do something with the wrong thing.
Just imagine that you are on your computer, you make a file you didn't want to and you decide to move that file to your trash. As soon as you move it to the trash, the file comes back out of the trash and suddenly your computer starts to run an application. Or you go to put your computer to sleep but instead your computer starts to back up. It doeskin make sense as to why if you are Creating the thing you would make it with so many flaws. This shows that if a god wanted to create a being in his own image he would have totally reworked the way the brain does things.
I might do things like this more some time in the future, we will see.

Different Situation for life.

So when someone thinks of a planet most people would think of the kinds of planets in our own solar system but in reality there are so many different kinds of planets and not only that but even some of the planets in our own solar system are not what they seem. For example, Mercury seems like a normal planet yeah? Well the thing is that even though it is only a little larger than the moon it has more than twice the  gravity of the moon.
This means that the components of mercury are not what they seem. Our moon is made up things you would assume that it has, it is like a small planet, it has a molten core, a mantel and a crust, this is the same as our earth only on a much larger scale. Mercury on the other hand has such a huge gravity and yet is so small which can only mean on thing, it has to be dense. And what is the most dense part of a planet? The core, which for rocky planets like ours and Mercury is made out of iron. If Mercury is just a core that means at some point it used to be a much larger planet. Something on the same size as earth or Venus. There are is only one thing that comes to mind that could do something like rip off something like 60% of a planet, and that is another planet.
But that goes into a different subject i might talk about later (wandering planets) for now i am going to talk about my favorite kind of exo-planet that we know can exist.
Binary planet systems. This is where there are two planets orbit each other and are relatively large. Sometimes the earth and the moon are considered binary planets but what i am talking about is when something like Venus and Earth orbiting together.

Now should we take this to the next level on thinking?
Sure, lets say that there were to planets rotating around each other, and they were in the Goldilocks zone (when the planet is far enough from the sun that there its water is not frozen but not so close that it evaporates) than life could occur on on these planets as we know it (carbon based), if this happened than when they looked up at night or during the day in some cases they would be able to see the life there. This could Even go as far as to prevent something like the dark ages or even religion in an extreme case from happening. I am willing to say this much because one thing about our own sky and what you can see with the naked eye, is that it all looks the same in a sense. For example when you look up in the sky, you really only see three things, and two of those look the same for the most part. The sun is a super bright light, nothing is like it here on earth, and the moon and the stars look the same in color and also look like nothing here on earth. So the sky becomes distant, detached from here, it becomes the heavens, but if they looked up there and something that did look like things down here than that would force them to think about things in a different manner. And as soon as they get the hang of map making than they would start to realize that like on their own planet this other planet has continents, oceans, forests and life. Not only this but if one of the planets life developed electricity than the other planet would be able to see the planet when its in the dark.
For us here on earth the space race happened because two nations were trying to show off their power, but in this situation they would race to get to the other planet. One would hope that they had something similar to the UN that would keep them from directly contacting this other life to let them have natural evolution and development.
This is what i like thinking about. I wish I could talk to people that could help me think more about this in a better light and understanding.
Oh well. someday there will be a chance for me.
Till next time.

Space.... Nope VIDEOGAMES

So as I'm sure you all know, I love space, but something else I love is videogames.
But the thing about games is that they are expensive for the most part and you have to pay for them (not really at all but it is good to if you like the people that make them). So a lot of people either dont have a lot of games or have to wait for sales. This is both good and bad because its really a pain if you see a game come out or you find a game that you really want bu you dont have the money. But I have found an amazing site here on the web that can help any one that plays games on say steam.

Now I have actually known about this site for a year or two now, but it recently has come out with a new feature and it is really cool so I thought i would use this chance to introduce it here so all of you (the what, three of you? thank you by the way) that like videogames.

Anyways the site is called The Humble Bundle and like I said it is super super cool.

Here are all the super great things about this site, first off its pay what you want, and pay more than the average to get special games. Second the bundle has anything from 5 to 9 games in it.
Normally the average only gets to about $5 so you pay $6 and get all those games.

AND even better is that you can give the money to charity if you want. But if you dont want to do that you can pick how much goes to where, the humble bundle, the game creators, or the charity.

And about every 10 days or so the main Bundle changes to something different. But there is also the Weekly sale, that as the name implies it changes every week.

But the New thing that has Just come out is the Humble Store. This new feature allows you to buy just a single game, and it doesn't have that huge price discount, but the store has a Huge veriety of games and the these games change every 24 hours so if there is nothing that looks good to you just wait a day and there are all these new games.

As for myself i have yet to use the store but i have used the others, The Humble Bundle and the Humble Weekly Sale and every time i have used it i came out happy with the over all experience. But soon i am guessing there will be a game in the store that i might buy. I highly suggest to anyone that plays games that they should check out this site, even for just a quick look.

HAHAHA GOING ON FOREVER

so i told my english teacher(the one that is making me do this) that i would let him pick what i would talk about in this, but im not going to do that because yeah.

Infinity.

So what do you think of when you talk about infinity.
0,1,2,3,4,5,6... all the way to the end?
that works.
But what about the numbers in-between 1 and 2?
1.1, 1.2... wait, that would come to an end, what about 1.1, 1.11, 1.111, going on forever. That would be infinity as well.
So does that mean that there are infinite numbers between numbers in an infinite count.
But than again there number going back, so 0,-1,-2,-3,-4,-5,-6... again going back forever.
And this number count also have numbers between them.
So there are numbers going on forever in bot directions from 0. And between each number in that infinity has an infinity between it. So an infinity inside infinity.
Pretty awesome i think. But here is another cool thing. As i am surrounded by hippies that dont actually know what they are talking about, i tend to end up looking up a lot.
There are these things called fractals in math, the hippies seem to have a weird understanding of this. What they are is a pattern that goes on forever, and as you zoom in it again goes on forever just getting smaller. ill stop here before i start to talk math.
A great youtube channel to learn more cool stuff like this is http://www.youtube.com/vihart.
Super good.
Ciao.

Culture&Entertainment

This time i think we are going to be talking about Culture. This isn't something a lot of people would think about but it is important, but think about it this way, you are going to have many people in space for a long time, and if they are going on a trip that will take more than a single generation they are going to develop their own kind of culture. The popular art will be different than that on earth. This goes along with entertainment, music and games and movies and technology will advance individually to this group in space.

In order to explain this situation better lets come up with a hypothetical situation. Or rather we will be creating two hypothetical situations. One where we just go to the closest star (Alpha Centauri) and use a fusion core. and the other where we go to the closest planet that is assumed to be capable to host life(Gliese 581c). The difference is not that one has a planet, they both do, but Alpha Centauri's planet is really hot. Like its surface is 1200°c. To put in comparison the hottest planet in our solar system is Venus and is only a mere 462°c.

For our Ship going to Alpha Centauri, it must travel 4.37 light years. With our current space traveling methods it would take thousands of years, you could use a fusion core but that would also take a long time. With traditional rockets it would take about 79000 years, but with a fusion core it would cut that time in roughly half. still a very long time. Just under 4000 years. On earth we went from building the pyramid in Egypt to going to the moon, that's twice the time that Christianity had been around. Anything could happen and no one would ever know.

To get to Star Gliese 581 and furthermore to the planet Gliese 581c, they will have to go 20.3 light years away from earth. by our math from the last situation, it would take only 20000 years to get to.  We would need a faster drive.

But as you can see if a self containing part of a civilization were to go into space it would result in them creating and maintaining their own culture, and if their group and ours were to meet up anywhere from 200 years to 2000 years it would have unpredictable results. Think about the difference between Chinese culture and Mexican, or Canadian and Saudi Arabian culture, though this would be on  much larger scale.

Energy

Because its fun to talk about energy this is what I am going to go over.

So, in the media star ships always have like a core thing. The great thing about this subject is that this is kinda true, but only in the sense that in the center (kinda) of the ship is where the energy will be produced. Now when we talk about a ship that can exist in the next 100 to 150 years this core will either use fusion. Either way it will need to produce massive amounts of energy and radiation. This star ship could also use solar energy but that wouldn't have a core and would not produce nearly as much energy. Now if you are reading this keep in mind that nuclear power is currently the cleanest form of energy, it does produce radioactive waist but we would have ways to to deal with that.

Hopefully we will have Fusion as a source of energy and we could then use that. Hypothetically there is Antimatter, and if we could make large amounts of this substance (grams at a time) we could have a much larger and cleaner form of energy.  But as far as i know the only way to create Antimatter is by speeding matter up to near the speed of light and then slamming it into equivalent mass traveling at the same speed. Unfortunately I must say we cant count on rotating crystal pyramids to get energy from so for this example we will be hopeful and say that we have Fusion unlocked and ready to be used in this sort of situation.

This core would have to be placed in the center or the center back bottom. I give two options because the center would allow for the most protection, where as the center back bottom would give less radiation to the rest of the ship.

Because Fusion runs on Hydrogen you never have to worry about running out of fuel. This might sound absurd but if we used hydrogen as fuel your exhaust would be helium. If you did enough reactions to produce enough helium to fill a normal balloon, it would be enough power to light an average light bulb for 300 years. And because hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe its something you don't have to worry about.  Large gas giants like Jupiter are made mostly out of hydrogen and helium so any ship with the tech could stop by one of these as a refueling station.

With this form of energy as a fuel we would be able to move with relative speed throughout the galaxy.

The Next Step, What it Would Take: Part One, Navigation

As the title suggests i am going to talk about all of the things that would be needed in a ship that was going to be leaving the planet earth for a longer period of time. By that i mean longer than a year with no contact with our planet, an example of this would be a large ship going to a new planet.
The first thing that this ship would need would be a navigation system, this is to even arrive there. Remember that moving through space is unlike anything on earth. One way you could navigate through space would be to use the sun and known orbits of the planets. This way you would have an item that doesn't move (it does but not relative to this said ship), the only problem with this method is that you wouldn't be able to use it if you left this solar system. Another method you could use is to use the center of our galaxy as a replacement for our sun and use photos as a map.
But a more likely and more effective method would to use a form of the Doppler Effect called Redshift/Blueshift. Redshift and Blueshift work by our current understanding of light, that being that light is a wave (and a particle but ignore this for now) and it has a specific wave length. In Redshift or Blueshift, if you move toward an item that is producing light than its light turns a shade of blue, if you are moving away from an item that is emitting light, it would turn more red. To use this idea than you could use a picture taken from your location (floating in space where ever), from here you would compare it to other photos to locate the place you want to go to. After you locate what direction your destination is in you would accelerate towards it. At this point two new things are needed, one you would need to be going really fast, and second, you would need something to monitor the 'color' (frequency) of this stars light. This way as you approach this star your computer will inform you when you need to slow. But just like everything this only works if you are Not using a FLT (faster than light) mode of transportation, so it is not a permanent method of navigation. My money would be on the mapping of this galaxy and then pre-programming that into on board spaceship computers.
(this is Redshift and Blueshift examples if you didn't get it)

When humans first took to the seas we didn't know about the shorelines. We will just have to learn all over again, and i hope and believe that our future generations push through this challenge.
(maybe we will find a Nice extraterrestrial species and they can help us, but i doubt it)

Next we are going to go over either Water or Energy, i dont know yet.

what we should have done already

Alright, lets start this off with a number. 3.539.000.000.000.
That is the amount of money the united states spent last year (2012). That year we spent a total of 1.030 to 1.415 trillion of it on defense. That said, the united states gave 16.014 billion dollars on NASA. We spent 88 times more money on rockets and guns than we did on advancing human kind and getting to learn more about the Universe. I hate (i don't hate to say it) say it but what the hell. I mean I am someone that thinks that world peace will never happen, and i actually think that war is a good thing, in the sense that most of all good and important advances in technology come from war. But we don't need to almost a trillion and a half dollars on that stuff. So what i am going to theorize in the following is what i think we could do with that money with out leaving us defenseless and still letting us move forward. Not only that but also Actually let us jump ahead of all other countries and become stronger and more advanced than any other country on earth.
~

First lets take a look at our currant space station shall we?
It orbits earth at 230 miles above earth.
Its approximate speed is 4.791 miles a second.
We put it into orbit on November 20. 1998.
And finally it cost a total of 150 billion us dollars to make.

This is all easy stuff to know, i mean hell you can just look it up. What a lot of people don't know is that it can only hold at most 6 people. I don't know about you but when i think of a Space Station its a place where more than 50 people can live. Its Not a place where there are only a few places where a person can stand fully upright. Now this thing we call a space station cost a total of 150 billion dollars, and we paid for more than half of the full thing. If we took just 25% of what we spent on all of defense we have almost two and a half more money than we spent on the current space station. With this money and the amount in advancement in technology we could make something so much greater for something near the same price.

So lets imagine that we build a larger space station that is large enough to host up to 50 adults. This ship is also able to reduce the amount of radiation absorbed by the astronauts to only increase their chance of getting cancer down to 0.5% from 3% which it is right now.
~
In this situation the next step humans or this nation could do would be to make some other ships that would be capable of going to the Asteroid belt. or just past Mars. If thought out it would be capable to have rotating 'crews' of men, some would stay at the space station while others are out at the Asteroid Belt Mining.
The importance in mining this belt is that one of the reasons we don't have more things in space is that it is super expensive to send things into space in the first place. So if we can get the materials we need to build things already in space than we don't have to pay that expense. this would let us build Bigger and better things making in natural to more forward.
Not only that but the Asteroid Belt is filled with elements that are semi-rare. If a country was able to do this than they would suddenly become much more powerful than all other countries.
If started now you could have this sort of thing just finished by the year 2025, only 5 years after when the current space station is going to be ordered down.

Next post i am going to move on from here in the suggested human advancement, or rather where i think we should go.

Space

So like just after the united states and the USSR 'finished' their space race, the result being that the US made it to the moon before the Russians did, we sent out a spacecraft that was going to go and take pictures of Saturn. This ship was only supposed to go on a five year trip and then after it they would send it into the planet where it would be crushed after falling miles into the planet. They decided to just send it away from the sun.
First I should say that this Ships name was Voyager 1, and it competed its Saturn mission with fantastic results.
From this Mission we learned that Saturn, just like Earth, has an Aurora that happens at its polls.

But what i want to get to is that after this mission we just sent this ship out and pointed it away from the sun, and just recently NASA made an announcement that as of August 2012 this ship has left the heliosphere.
The heliosphere is the electromagnetic sphere the sun creates. It is just like the one that our earth makes, and because of our stars heliosphere the planets don't get bombarded with interstellar radiation. And now that this ship has left our Solar System it can be argued that our race(humans) have become interstellar beings, though we did it kinda by cheating as this ship took around 36 years to do it. Anyway (did you know anyways is not a 'real' word as its slang) this ship is going to keep going and at its current speed it will reach the next star in 44,000 years. so just have to wait a bit longer.

The History of Human Data Storage

One thing that makes humans so different from the other beings on this earth is that we have a sense of history. By that I mean we record what has happen, we create data, or information.

Originally humans created information and passed it along to others through verbal communication. In a way this is the most basic form or data storage. This is still present today in the forms of myths, or stories. Anything you heard that someone else hear that someone else heard is a form or verbal recording. I won't get to into this as it is a simple concept and not that exciting, in this light.

A second form of Data recording is through the use of pictures or drawings. The most notable of the older drawings are cave drawings. The oldest cave drawings is approximately 40,000 years old and is located in northern Spain. Some debate if this is drawn by humans as at that time there were many more Neanderthals in Europe at the time making it much more likely that a member of that species. That said the average human is about 4% Neanderthal.

Moving on, the next form or information storage is through writing. Again this is something else that only humans have managed to do, as far as we know. Writing is interesting in the sense that as it formed all over the world sometimes without relation to the other forms, we end up with radically different forms of it all over the world, from Sumerian to ancient Egyptian to Old Chinese. Now, with the invention of writing there is the ability of accuracy that can't be held with verbal remembrance can't have do to the inability of humans to remember thing clearly. I doubt that this is a coincidence that this is the edge of our knowledge of human history. I think that this is the reason that religion is so prominent. After the creation of writing things didn't progress in this area for a long time, due to religion and the dark ages.

The next development occurred in the 20th century with the invention of virtual storage. Computers in this day and age use things called Bits to record information.  A bit can be one of two things, either a one or a zero. This works by telling the computer to either do something or not, it works like a yes or a no. Because of this the number of bits that have to be used is incredibly large. because of that there are different terms for larger amounts of bits. Above bit is a byte, which is eight bits. above a byte is a kilobyte. here is a list of terms and the number of bits.

Byte = 8 bits
Kilobyte = 1024 Bytes
Megabyte = 1024^2 bytes
Gigabyte = 1024^3 bytes
Terabyte = 1024^4 bytes
Petabyte =1024^5 bytes
Exabyte = 1024^6 bytes
Zetabyte = 1024^7 bytes
Yottabyte = 1024^8 bytes

Right now the largest hard drive on earth is at IBM's research lab in California. It is an insane 120 petabytes. I know i punt the numbers up there but I want to write it out to show the size of it.
That's 1 160 568 786 830 044 007 717 928 960 bits. That's a little more than one Octillon bits.

Now bits are good but they are getting outdated. In the near (within the next hundred years) future computers will switch from using bits to using Qubits. The difference between the two is that a qubit is that rather then being either a one or a zero it can be both at the same time. Not that it now has three forms, one zero and both, but that it can tell the computer to do both at the same time. An easier way of thinking about it is if you think of how a computer would solve a puzzle. Right now a computer would go till it reaches a T section, at that moment it would take one turn and continue to make that one turn until it reaches a dead end. Then it would go back to the last turn and take the other rout. If it reaches a second dead end. It will do this over and over till it reaches a solution. But with a quontum computer (a computer using qubits rather than bits) would take all possible routs at the same time. This lets it reach a solution in a single 'move'.

Out side of the computer world some scientists have found a way to code information into DNA which would allow us to create biological safes of information. This is still in the developmental stage but it could help somehow in the future.

Where or how do you think we will store information in the future?

Immortality?

Immortality, Something that many people have tried to gain and so far all have failed. But outside of the Human species there may be some that have reached a form of immortality.
First lets talk about what immortality is and the different forms of it.
This is the scientific version. From the scientific side it is when an organism no longer can be killed by time. when it comes to humans there are several ideas as to how we could extend our lives, rejuvenation and mind uploading. But when it comes to things that happen in nature there are different answers. If a species mortality rate doesn't increase after maturity then it is considered biologically immortal. an example of this would be coral colonies and aspen trees. The older either of those is then the harder it is for it to die, that means that its mortality rate is higher the younger it is.
The Hydras, a species of really small fresh-water animal, scientists have recently become interested in them do to their regenerative ability. the odd thing about the Hydras is that they have the ability to to stop their aging. And while in captivity we have never seen one die from age. Many scientists think that they could open the doors to the extension of human life. Another example of something like this in nature is the Turritopsis Nutricula, also called the Immortal Jellyfish. This jellyfish has the strange ability to revert back to its infant stage after becoming sexually mature. And from what scientists can tell this action can be repeated forever thus letting it be considered immortal. Just like the Hydra people are looking into seeing if it can help people live longer.
On a new hand there are some bacteria that have been able to come out of a form of 'stasis' after millions of years.
When i mentioned Aspen colonies above, the oldest one that we know of is named Pando. Latin for "I Spread", this 'trees' age is around 80,000 years old. at this age its mortality rate is so low that many thing that a natural death for it is incredibly unlikely. This tree no longer needs to reproduce, it simply clones itself to add a new tree. The way these trees work if you dont know is the Tree is really the root system. The parts that people see are only the sprouts.  Thats why if it needs to make a new 'tree' then it just clones itself and the roots sprout a new tree.
One of the oldest individual Living things we know of is a member of Pinus Logaeva, or the Great Basin Bristlecone Pine. The member is 5,063 years old. It is able to achieve this incredible age by  letting the out side of the tree die to protect it from the dangers of the world. Whats more the environment in which it lives is very dry and has near no extreme weather that could damage the tree.

So is immortality real or possible or is it something that only some "Chosen" species can achieve. That said there is a chance that humans have not finished evolving, or Science will one day understand the ways that they do it and manage to imitate it. But that's for another discussion.

???

So for the past month or so I have been watching to much anime to be healthy. And through the mountain of trash that is anime, I have found something I really actually like. It is called Another, based on a book published on October 29, 2009. It is a Japanese dark/horror story, focusing on the curse of a class room. But it isn't one if those disgusting school amines either. The story itself would be enough for me to recommend this to people that like anime and the message that it sends make it all the better.

That being can you prove that you are real.  This brings us to the question that I have been thinking about for a while. Is it better to exist, as in be noticed by the people around you, or is it better to go unnoticed.
Along with this is that humans are social creatures and most need confirmation from others that they are experiencing the same things. Proof for this is people everywhere say things like "did you hear that?" Or "do you smell that?".
Now if you can't do that for whatever reason, most of the time the subject tends to go insane.
That said, is it better to be noticed or is it better to go unnoticed.
I would consider both sides before you leap to a conclusion.

(Because of English I will add this, this question has been thought over for a long time. Proof, "To be or not to be.")

story?

i was thinking maybe i will write a piece of fiction for this post, haha, hope no one reads it.  Probibly isnt to good, (bring the hate mail...)
OH!!! I SHOULD SAY THAT THIS IS ONLY VIOLENCE AND SHOULDN'T BE READ BY THOSE PEOPLE THAT CANT TAKE ANYTHING!! TO ME THIS ISN'T THAT BAD BUT SOME PEOPLE..... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

I walk past the alley way, and a trash can shoots out of the darkness. The cold metal slams into the side of my head, hot pain flashing through my skull as I feel the bone crunch under the pressure of the throw.  The momentum of the flying object transfers to me and I crash into the wall opposite the trashcan.  I force my throbbing head to look up, I can feel my pulse, my eyesight blurs, and blood rushes to my now cut face.  A man walks out of the darkness, his eyes glued to me.  He walks with an almost feline stalk, circling me. I try to get up, my instincts screaming at me to run but my body refuses to respond.  He gets an arms distance from me and I can see the blue arteries under his fair skin, his eyes a gray blue, his pupils the slits of a cat.  I can feel my heartbeat quicken, as he reaches forward and grabs me by the collar of my jacket.  He lifts me up without so much as a grunt. Now at a stand still, he slams me against the wall behind me, I can feel the pop as my collar bone breaks under his fist.  Then he turns and throws me down the alley he can came from.  The air rushes past me and I can feel the cold wind on my cut up face.  The ground comes up before I can gain any sort of relief.  The cement slams into me and I slide for what seems like an eternity.  As I come to a stop blood from my torn skin begins to pool around me and I want to scream but my lungs are desperately gasping for air.  Any energy I had before is now gone and the will to fight is ripped from my grasp. I feel my attacker’s shadow creep up and over my back. His steel grip latches onto my ankle and lifts me up.  A trickle of blood drips down my torn cheek, and the world turns upside-down as blood rushes to my head for the second time.  My vision darkens as the world starts to spin away from me but the pain keeps me conscious.  There is a whirl and the side of a dumpster comes into contact with me at an incredible speed, my arm, getting in the way is shattering under the immense force. Something inside me burns into life and I am able to clamber to one knee. I look up, and immediately vomit blood. I wipe at it with my good arm and spit at the ground.  The man smiles for a second and rushes forward faster than my eyes can track. I look around then hold still. I can feel his breathe behind me. I spin and go to hit him with my remaining arm but as I spin, his hand goes straight to my triceps, his fingers latching onto it. His other hand blocks my punch mid swing and grabs the wrist, and pulls. I watch in horror as the man pulls my muscle and skin off my arm. The tendon rips apart my skin as it is pulled away leaving almost a trench in my arm, leading to bone. Blood spills down the rest of my arm. I start to scream but his open hand slams onto my mouth, covering it up. He stands there, hand over my mouth, and I look up to him, my consciousness wavers as more blood pumps out of my body.  He pulls my face closer to his and looks into my eyes, and tightens his grip on my mouth. I feel my jaw bone start to crack. The pain from all over my body is excruciating.  Just as the darkness starts to creep across my vision once more, another shock of pain slams into my stomach and I catch a glimpse of his arm tucked away in my stomach. Even more blood squirts up my throat and into my mouth and I hear yet another crack. I slam into the wall once more, which by now has such a large crater in it that I am able to sit there for a moment before my limp body leans forward and I tumble to the ground. Somehow I manage to stay on my knees. I hear more footfalls and look up. All I see is his fist, which lands neatly on my face and there is a noticeably loud pop as my nose is ripped out of place. The back of my skull slams into the brick wall behind me, and my eyesight flashes red. His arm comes up in another punch and the extreme force of it brings me to a standing position, then over and over his palms slam into my chest.  With each punch I feel the snap of a rib. I gasp and throw up blood all over. My insides feel somehow empty. The last bit of energy starts to fade away and I look up at the man that continues to pummel my chest. His final punch slams me into the wall and lean there for a moment. He looks at me, and a small smile flickers over his face and turns to leave. His back turned, I fall to my knees and give everything I have to keep my eyes open.  No longer able feel the beat of my heart and once more my sight flashes red.  The rest of this shell falls to the ground. My head turned to one side, I feel blood trickle out of my mouth.  Light shimmers for just a moment but then fades to black. The pain slips out of my mind, and things come to an blessed end.

i got nothing

so yeah like the title says i have nothing so  i don't  know if this will  be that great of a post but don't worry i will make it up to the 3 people that have seen this blog some how.
so lets see, i have been writing a few small stories i don't know why but i find it quite fun.  they just consist of a person being brutally murdered. so that's always fun.  my parents left my house so i have to stay with my friend and he got really sick, although that is not even the worst part.  That is reserved for the fact that all he does is play league of legends. it wouldn't be so bad other then that i have no computer and he has  his head phones in so when ever i say something he cant hear.  or maybe the worst thing is that they have nothing to eat at their house so i had to bring my own food.  OH well, i think i will link you to something cool and not say what is it.  yeah that's a good idea. OH and i will use a URL shorten-er so you cant tell what it is!!!
alright see you later.

Dubstep...mhe

Alright so i am not a Huge fan of dubstep or even a fan of it really, but i will listen to it every once in a while.  But i found this video on YouTube that i actually enjoyed watching and i thought i would share it with you guys/girls/other because shirring is caring.  Here is the link. The other thing is that it has most of the actions seance in all movies that came out till like 2010 i think... maybe 2008.

But back onto the track of science!
i bring you several news things but they will be shorter then normal but i think that you will enjoy it.

First is that we are getting oh so much closer to cloning people!
For the first time a team of scientist have created a embryonic stem cell buy injecting the nucleus of a mature cell into a human egg.  Now this is a great thing because it takes us closer to the realm of personalized medication.  Now this was the same technique used to create dolly the first cloned mammal.
Before this same attempt failed in 2011 when a different team tried but failed due to the cell stalling out and only creating 8 cells.  But this time by injecting the egg with caffeine they managed to push out the eggs own DNA and replace it with the adult DNA.

Now the second thing is something that has been untouched for a long time, and by long time i mean between 1.5 to 2.46 billion years.  This 'thing' is many pockets of ground water.  They where found in Canada, two kilometers under ground.  This is such an amazing find, i will try to explain why this could be a benchmark in our history.  On the surface of earth this is a list of things that have happened in that time.
The farthest back is that our atmosphere acquired oxygen. The next great thing is that Eukaryotes became a thing, for those of you that don't know that's a cell that has a nucleus in it.  Next Multicellular life became a thing.  So a relly long time ago, and if all of that meant nothing to you then lets look at it like this, the first dinosaurs were 230 million years ago.  These underground lakes came into existence about one thousand times earlier. And no that they are being opened for all that we know there could be life that is by far older then anything we know of.  Now the cool thing about this is that groups of people are finding this sort of thing all over the world. A large portion of these being in Antarctica.

Anyways this is all i have for you today.  Till next.

Thoughts on Memory

Let me knowledge that i have to finish the dimension post and i will but this is also important and i would like to address it.

So in my English we are reading Hamlet, and it being a play at some point people memorized it.  Not that big of a realization i know but it is hard to read so does that mean that they had better memories then us?  Or would it have been simple (as simple as memorizing something in modern English) because that was the common language that was spoken then.  Another thing we studied in English this year was the affects of war on people. Now what is the connection between these thing?  Well it is that one of those affects is called PTSD or Post Trauma Stress Disorder. Now if you don't know what that is it is basically where after you get out of war a memory can come up and the victim thinks they are back in the war.  One reason scientist think this happens is that when a person has adrenaline in their system memories are more vivid. And if the memory of something like explosions and or a gun fight comes up and is extremely vivid then it would cause the victim to create more adrenalin thus saving the memory again.  Making it harder to lose. Nothing new, but i am wondering if at some point has someone used this same method of retaining memories use it in something like a play to remember ones lines?
Just some thoughts i had.

Sorry if this doesn't make since, I'm tired.
I think that i will be going a post about AI later this week.

Oh i want to state that world peace will never happen.  That's not to say that major wars like World War one or two wont completely stop, they could. But what i mean is that there will never be a time when there will be no crime on the planet.

Final question is if you could have an AI as a friend like Jarvis from Iron man or like the Ai from the book Speaker of the Dead, and what would you have it help you out with?
see you later.

Thoughts on society.

I have a question for the 3 people that have ever looked at this blog, why is it that most people think that emotion comes from the 'heart'. It doesn't make any logical sense. And why is the symbol for love a heart. Why? All the heart ever was and will be is an instrument for pumping blood through your body that in return gives your body oxygen and removes the carbon dioxide that you produce when you break down sugars. This all scares me more then most things. What have this world come to.

Dimensions

Today i think we will be talking about our dimensions. because this is a hard concept and i need sleep i am only going to talk about the first 5 today and the rest Thursday.

So we are going to start with the first dimensions.

The first dimension can only have a single point. This point can be any size but you would not know the size do to it only being able to have a single point.  like this.  . it only represents a location on a graph. and if you lay down another point and connect the two, you have a first dimensional object. A line, it has length, and nothing else.

The second dimension can be represented as anything with length and height.  Think of this as anything drawn on a piece of paper.

The third dimension is the dimension that you and i can best understand as we are third dimensional beings.  This dimension has anything that has length, height  and depth.  You know this very well.

For the fourth dimension it will help if we have a subject, his name will be Joe.
The fourth dimension works like this.  Just as you can represent any three dimensional being on a graph with X,Y and Z axis, the fourth dimension has an axis just like them. This axis is called W.  Think of Joe, he is standing still, not a second later he raised his hand.  If you could draw a line that showed him raise his hand then that would be a fourth dimensional line. If you could see everything in the fourth dimension you could see every persons life from birth to death.

For the fifth dimension things will get a bit more complicated.  It is like the fourth dimension could be conceived through our understanding of time.  But unlike the fourth there is not just one line, there are an unlimited number of time lines. Each of them are changed just a bit do to chance, your choices in like as well as others choice.  This is one of the supports of the Multiverse that i spoke about in an older post.

Aliens

Being in everything from videogames to cave walls, aliens are something we as a species seem to be obsessed with. But it is understandable, What sentient creature wouldn't want to know if they where alone in the universe. I think that is one of the over all goals of humanity. But you might think several things.  One that in our huge galaxy (being between 100,000 to 120,000 Light years from side to side) there would be more then one species that can use radio waves.  And if there are species like that why haven't they come to us yet?  Well there are two great theory's that should help clarify this for you.  The first is called THE DRAKE EQUATION.
(Not you handsome...)

This equation is the scientifically accepted equation for estimating the number of alien civilizations in the galaxy at any one time.  The equation goes like this.
N=RfnfffL

stands for the number of alien civilizations in the galaxy.

R*stands for the stars formed per year.

fstands for the number of those suns that have planets.

n stands for the number of those planets that could support life per star.

f stands for the number of those planets that go to the next step and actually have life.

f stands for the number of those planets that's life becomes intelligent.

fc stands for the number of those intelligent species that create a civilization.

L stands for the length of time it takes for such civilization takes to release detectable signs in to space.

i know this is a lot to take in but bare with me, Once you put in all the numbers, you get  number between 0.000,000,000,000,000,000,080 to 182,000,000.  That is using the lowest acceptable numbers to th  highest numbers.

Now we come to the second thing i must talk about.  If you look at those numbers then you would have to ask yourself is with numbers like 182 million why haven't we come into contact with aliens?
Well there is a second theory that covers that.

Its is called the Zoo hypothesis. What this one means is that just like some tribes here on earth modern people are not allowed to go near then.  This way we can make sure that their culture is protected and will develop the way it should.  What i mean is that If there are aliens, they will not show themselves to us until we prove we are done developing.  This would mean that after completing something that proves this we would be welcomed into open hands and integrated into a higher life.  Some think this to be anything from world peace or an achievement in science or space travel.
One popular idea is that the ship Voyager will be the ship that will complete this task.  It is the farthest man made object from the sun, and whats more is it is about to leave our solar system.  If this is true then maybe it wont be to long till we meet the little gray men.
till next time.

Simulation.

Most people would agree that the planet earth is pretty large.  Not huge and maybe small in comparison to the galaxy or the universe, but it is large when compared to the things you see and interact with on a daily bases.  And something else people would agree with is that we have some pretty impressive technology as well and we have the ability to simulate quiet large or complicated things.  I have two things to talk about, having to do with both of these things.  First, the popular game minecraft is a simulation of a land in which you can do a lot of a things, but not a lot of people know the full size of the game.  In truth it is quite large.  The game explored to its full size is about the same size as Neptune.  A planet that is larger then ours.  We as humans have made things that have the ability to simulate a world that is larger then our own.  That i think is quite insane.  But it gets better, a team in Austria made a simulation that was so large and in depth it took not 1, not 5 or 100 computers but 500+ computers.  It is a simulation of our Universe at its young age.  It looks amazing, and was well worth the 30 years of computing hours.  If you want to see the final product i highly suggest that you do, and you can download the video at there site.  Here is a link.  Its called the Millennium Run.  here is a photo of what it looks like.  Simply Awesome.

Universe... or Multiverse

A fantastic idea that everyone has thought about since the recognition of the there being a universe is if there is another one along side ours.  Many ideas have come up and been thought up but only three are scientifically recognized.  The first being that the Multiverse has Nine dimensions, if this is true it would let our Three dimensional universe only be a single plane of existence. In this Nine dimensional Multiverse, our universe would be like a page of a book, in that in our three dimensional world, a page of a book is two dimensional. To look at this Hypothesis in lamens terms, the Multiverse is everything, and in that everything there are universes, but like a page from a book there would be many of them.
The second idea is that there are Infinite numbers of universes.  The way this works is that anything that could have happened has happened.  To look at this through text think of it this way, just by choosing to read this you made a new universe.  The difference between this one and that one is that you didn't read this in that universe.  So in this model, every time any thing ever did something a new universe was made where that thing didn't happen.  This is my favorite theory as it was proposed by the logic of quantum mechanic, the thing I would like to study.
The third proposed idea is that there are universes in our universe but are so distant that we would never have a chance to see them, or that they only exist inside black holes, and we would thus never see them. By the logic of this theory we could be inside a black hole that was part of a second (any number really.) universe.  This is the most strait forward idea.
Or we are the only universe in existence and there is no other.  We could be alone, but I don't think that is true.
Minutphysics has more on his channel on YouTube, i highly suggest you watch his stuff.

Video Game Production

I am sure many of you know and use Steam, but 2 weeks ago they had a sale for RPG maker Vx ace and I purchases it. And since then I have been watching tutorials and trying my hardest to make a small game. And next week I will be on spring Break and will be able to hopefully finish what I am making with my friend. I'm going to have to start using Facebook and twitter again. But back to RPG maker Vx ace. The really cool thing about this game engine is that it does not rely on you the creator knowing everything about coding. Yes it looks like a game from years ago and you will not be making an AAA Game. But for people like myself that don't need to make things like that it works fine. The application coasts $69.99 so it's a bit pricy. But when I got it it was half off so well worth it. When yo but it you also purchase he license to all the content, that means that you can release a game and sell it without really halving to make anything. Anyways if I finish the game thingy I will put up a download link here.
Till next time have a good one.

Questions are Free

First off i found another Free game for both Mac and PC. I have not played this game yet, but it looks really cool.  From what i can see it is an Open map game.  But i don't know.   Its called Zineth, and if you go HERE you can download it and the Soundtrack.  Sounds good?  I agree.
Another few things, Like video games?
I think you should, but if you don't i hope you like movies.
Here and Here you can get really cool posters about those two things.
And they have great deals, like buy 2 get 1 free.
Last thing, i ask you a question, if you were to build a bridge all the way around the circumference of the earth and then simultaneously destroyed all of the supports, would it flout in the air?
think about the fact that the gravity pulling it down would be pushing it up on the other side.
think about it.  Got to go.

So many cool things.

First off Zombies.  I found this cool game called They Will Eat You. Its really fun and runs in your browser. The point of the game is to Last as long as possible.
Speaking of time, how long is 400 years? In that game you play as a statue that has 400 years to save humans from a disaster.  I played for a bit and liked it, though i only got past the first people. Kind of sad right? if you Are feeling down then go listen to a Sad Violin.  But don't be sad, be happy and go to London. This is one of the largest photos ever made! In it you can zoom in and look around, its almost like going there.  Does it look big?  If it does then look at this.  100,000 stars.
Im going to leave you with that.  Have fun.

People

I would like to start with something that not many people know about. That being an isolated tribe that was spotted in Brazil.  There are very little of peoples like this, and 100  of the tribes like this are inside the boarders of either Brazil or Peru.  The government of Brazil took some photos from an airplane, to "We did the overflight to show their houses, to show they are there, to show they exist".  I think this is a very smart move on their part as people like this are going extinct.  Brazil is using this reason to try to shut down the deforestation that some companies are preforming.  One could see them, living in perfect peace, without damaging the environment, and yet we call them uncivilized.  Normally i don't care about this sort of thing but  untouched people like this wont last much longer, and i would think that their wont be anymore by 2100.
sad.

Cash

i have been looking around on this website called thinkgeek.com . If you havent been to this site already, i HIGHLY suggest you do.  It has Loads of great stuff.  Any ways back to the matter at hand.
I was on this site and i have managed to find a few things that i think you guys would like.
The first is a dress for all my lady fans.  But it has tenticals on it.  So it's coolness level goes through the roof.
http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/e990/#tabs?cpg=cj&ref=&CJURL=

Next thing, This one is not from thinkgeek, but from a website i am new too.
I like this one because we have really been using the same desighn for way to long. so it is good to switch it up.
This is a Zombie door stop.  Its cute and why not.  I like the fact that when you are using it, the door makes it look like it cut the zombie in half.  here is the link.
http://www.neatoshop.com/product/Zombie-Doorstop-Crawling

This last thing is free.  It is another flash game, i really like it cause it makes me think of what it would be like in space.  it is really fun and can get adictive.

stuff to get your self!!!

So every one likes posters right?
And if you read this blog i hope you like pokemon as well. :)

So if you like both of those then you may like THESE posters that have Intense drawing of pokemon.
Those are probably some of the coolest scientific drawing of the first three, and an extra one of the pokeball.
They start at $17 USD a poster but you can get them all with the pokeball poster included, but that's all sold out.  So keep your eyes peeled.

Maybe if you are one of the kinds of people that don't like to pay for things then you should go HERE.
Its a FREE game for both mac and PC   In the game you play as a blind man/woman where you have to throw what looks like bunnies around to let your self see your surroundings.  There are also unknown enemies that you must run from.

For it being free i like it a lot, the games name is Pulse and i would say to go check it out.
tell next time, goodbye.

More flash games.

so i have, again, spent to much time on the webs (spiderman) and thus found games i liked and or thought were amusing.
please enjoy.

This one, may not be for the light of heart.  In this puzzle game you you can throw up to bounce up walls, after wards you have the chance to swim in it to avoid dangerous objects.  Run out of vomit?  No worries, just eat it up again to use it for later.
http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/494129

these games are all kind of similar and all of them i love all.
these games are, yeah, bloody and violent, but never-the-less super fun and highly entertaining.
you play as aliens and you have to 'point and click' your way through the world.
here they are, brought to you by Newgrounds(if you haven't gone there already do so now, possibly one of the best sites on the internet).

http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/488402

a lot of people dis on flash games, but i really think other wise, sure they are not and never will be Triple A games, but they can be better then some B games.

LIFE

so i have been looking at some of the better flash games out there.
and here are some of the ones i like the most.
http://www.kongregate.com/games/krangGAMES/i-saw-her-standing-there
that is a game about a guy and a girl that like each other.  You have to go Get her... but there is a twist.
its super fun and doesn't take a long time to finish.

the next game i really liked was this game.
http://www.crazymonkeygames.com/fullscreen.php?game=Cosmic-Crush
this one i don't know if you can beat it, i haven't.
both modes are super fun though you can get mad over some time.  It is a bit difficult but i think it is fun watching your 'satellite' grow and be able to devour other things in your way.

this last one is not a game but it is Very cool and shows you really how insignificant you are in the larg scheme on things.
http://www.numbersleuth.org/universe/
shows you the size of things in the observable universe. have fun kids.

back after so long.

So i think of this blog a maybe a retarded flower.  sometimes i will miss days and sometimes i will go away for a while.

But to bring us back i found a video i would like to show, i would like to think of it as a symbol of rebirth.

props to this guy here, i think he took more then like 7,500 photos to make this time laps.

another thing is this weight lose idea.  Seems wacko  they would put a tube in your stomach and the tube out lead to a hole in your skin where you could drain the food before the calories are absorbed.

its a new year!!!

and because of that i thought something that had to do with history would be appropriate.
so yeah. watch.  (you should subscribe to them!!! =D)
