Thoughts on society.
I have a question for the 3 people that have ever looked at this blog, why is it that most people think that emotion comes from the 'heart'. It doesn't make any logical sense. And why is the symbol for love a heart. Why? All the heart ever was and will be is an instrument for pumping blood through your body that in return gives your body oxygen and removes the carbon dioxide that you produce when you break down sugars. This all scares me more then most things. What have this world come to.

It may have something to do with the fact that our emotional reactions to things can be, at times, illogical -- and therefore we like to assign their origins as emanating from somewhere other than our brains. Either that or Hallmark created this dichotomy to sell more cards and candy.
ReplyDeleteI think its because emotions affect your heart rate. It speeds up when your angry, and kinda goes all over the place when your experiencing an intense romantic situation. Ps- I read your blog, because its totally underground.
