I would say that we are on the verge of a third industrial revolution, all the things are there for it and we are already moving there. Now the question is who will be able to keep up.
Really when it comes down to it all that is needed for an industrial revolution is three things. A source of power, a form of transportation and a mode of communication, and we have new versions of all of them. Having these three new things will make it so that we will in the next few years see a huge change in the world that really will change everything.
for starters lets look at the new form of energies, we have a lot of new ways of generating energy such as wave and soon fusion, however we are still using oil. Yes this is true but even if we wanted to continue using that we would have to change regardless. We are running out of oil and at this point we are kinda scraping the bottom of the barrel. Some people have done some research and have found a way to produce oil synthetically, but it is not cost effective and it is time consuming, basically it comes down to we couldn't make enough of it fast enough to fuel the world like we would have to. So for now, things like wave, solar, geothermal, fission, wind and things like it, green energy, will have to do till we reach the next big one, fusion.
So we have a good bit of energy, that covers that part.
Net we have forms of transportation, here we see the advancement of things like drones and unmanned vehicles. This is evident in many places. For one in the military there is a huge switch to this over manned planes. In the normal world this is happening as well. Look at Amazon pushing for drone delivery. So we have things that are helping save lives and do things like delivery, we also have a push for having smart cars and smart roads, All new things. Over all it is becoming much more effective to move around. There are planes that go much much faster than originally thought possible with the invent and use of hypersonic jets and commercial airliners that are starting to go super sonic. Along with this we also see privately owned companies reaching out into space, for example the international space station no longer gets food from NASA, but rather it gets deliveries from companies such as Space X. So as you can see we are moving away from older modes and really pushing into the new.
And finally the last but not least is communication or information, and the internet is covering that. Because you know, like 40% of all humans can access the internet and share anything they want whenever they want for free with who ever they want. its pretty good. By the way i found this great website.
here
is a link, yall should check it out.
Till later.
